Shabanov's Calendar

  It is known that the Gregorian calendar from the astronomical point of view is accurate enough, but it has drawbacks and   they interfere with many.
List them:
               - calendar months have a duration of 28.29.30 and 31 days;
               - the length of the quarter varies from 90 to 92 days;
               - The first half is three to four days shorter than the second;
               - The week begins in one month or quarter, and ends in another;
               - each new year begins with another day of the week;
                - the dates of the month are not connected in any way with the days in the week.
     As a result of all this, the work of planning, financial, industrial and other bodies becomes more complicated. Each state spends annually large sums for printing new calendars. And so it continues for almost 500 years.
     But there is a way out of this situation. It's simple. You just need to switch from using the Gregorian calendar to using Shabanov's calendar. The Shabanov calendar is inherently the receiver of the Gregorian calendar. They have a lot in common, but there are differences. We will become acquainted with Shabanov's calendar.

Shabanov's calendar.

a calendar for 365 days a year
Calendar for 366 days of a leap year
         We can clearly see that Shabanov's calendar is simple, although it is a bit unusual.  The calendar for the leap year (366 days) differs from the  calendar for the year in 365 days with only one, the presence of one special day - "Earth Day", for brevity "Day of the Planet".  In a year of 12 months (each for 30 days), one Shaban week and a leap year adds one special day - the Day of the Planet. In a week - five days. We will understand in more detail in the "novelties" of Shabanov's calendar.

  1.   All 12 months have the same duration, 30 days. The names of the months are not important. For the convenience of the transition to the new calendar, we use the name of the months from the Gregorian calendar. January February March April May June July August September October November December. Everything is simple.
  2.  The duration of the week is 5 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). Monday - the beginning of the week, month, year. Friday is the final day of the week, month, year.
  3.    ALWAYS, in any year, in any month, the same day of the week corresponds to each calendar day of the month (week). For example: 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27 of any month (week), this is Tuesday (the second day of the week) and this is the same for ANY YEAR. One more example. Friday falls on 5,10,15,20,25 on the 30th of any month, or a week. Agree that it is very convenient. Now it is easy to determine that on this day of the week such-from the date of the month falls (Thursdays will be 4,9,14,19,24 and 29 of every month in any year). Or in the "such-and-such" the number of the month will always be "such a day of the week (the sixth day of any month, in any year it's Tuesday). Everything has become simple.
  4.   Shabanov's week (Shabanov's week) is introduced, after the 8th month (August). The duration of the Shaban week is 5 days, as for all the weeks in the year. The name of the days of the week is the same as in other weeks.
  5.    A leap year "has" 366 days, whereas an ordinary year "has" 365 days, as in the Gregorian calendar. In the Shabanov calendar, the definition that the year is a Leap year is produced by the same rules as in the Gregorian calendar. Recall that the duration of revolution of our planet Earth around the Sun is equal to 1 year or 365,256366004 days or 365 days. 6 hours 9 minutes. 10 seconds ..
  6. In a leap year has a special day - "Earth Day Earth." This is a direct analogue of the February 29 Gregorian calendar. But the "Day of the Planet Earth" (Day of the Planet) is "located" behind the Shaban week. It does not belong to any month and week. It "belongs to a leap year". The "Day of the Planet" is only in a leap year and it is very convenient for this day to coincide with the closing day of the Olympic Games, which will be the World Holiday. "The Day of Unity of the inhabitants of the planet Earth."
 The two above-mentioned calendars can easily be combined into one universal Shabanov calendar

Calendar Shabanov

Calendar Shabanov

The introduction of Shabanov's calendar will give us the following advantages:

  1.  The Shabanov calendar is extremely simple and the same in any year. Determine the length of the period between calendar dates (determine the number of days) is very simple. Determine the day of the week by date was just as simple. Using the Shabanov calendar will simplify the solution of "calendar issues" that will have a beneficial effect on banking, manufacturing, transport, health, education, etc. Simplify the "life" of the headquarters in the army and the organizations operating in the emergency situation.
  2.   The Shabanov calendar is almost the same for any year, and therefore planning, drawing up or developing schedules for financial transactions, research in science, design and development work, developing a network schedule and monitoring its execution, carrying out work involving multiple subcontractors, long-term work, tasks, transportation schedules, study schedules with the use of dates and days of weeks will be quite simple and clear. Only in leap years it is necessary to take into account the presence of the "Day of the Planet Earth", which we now had to do, take into account the presence on February 29.
  3.            Comparing the Gregorian calendar and the Shabanov calendar, we see that the difference in the actual "finding" of the day is the beginning of any month during any year, in its majority only 1 day.

The magnitude of the difference

Normal year - 365 days

Leap year - 366 days

0 Day                           January, April, May                                  January, March
    1 Day      + February + March + June + July - November - December        + February. + April + May - November - December
     2 Day                  + August - September - October                + June + July - September - October
     3 Day                            no                                                     + August

  1.  Compare for the Gregorian calendar and the Shabanov calendar work time fund and the rest time, without taking into account holidays and holidaysIn.                                                                                                                            The Gregorian calendar, for the 30-day month and 31-day month, if it starts not on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. (otherwise 31 days a month has 23 working days)
      At 8 hour working day, 22 working days, working time fund = 176 hours
    In the Shabanovskaya calendar we have 12 identical months (30 days each) and one Shaban week.
    Shaban week and "Day of the planet" will not be considered here.
           At 8 hour working day. 24 working days, working time fund = 192 hours
           At 7 o'clock working day. 24 working days, working time fund = 168 hours
                             Other schedules are also possible.
  1. Start using the Shabanov calendar conveniently in 2018.
               January 1, 2018 according to the Gregorian calendar - Monday.
     Start using the Shabanov calendar is possible in other years. Everything depends on the will and maturity of the leaders of countries, and the use of the calendar will have a beneficial effect on the economies of their countries. The advantages of the Shaban calendar before the Gregorian calendar are obvious. But we must give due respect to the creator of the Gregorian calendar. The method for determining the leap year is simple and reliable. At one time it was a progressive calendar and performed its function and performs correctly. But life does not stand still, science is not dogma. Knowledge, and along with them, the world view becomes wider and deeper. Needs also do not stand still. It's time to use the new Shabanov calendar.
     Start using this new calendar is possible first and in a separate country. For internal use.
      In new documents and in books it is easy to simply clarify that the date is according to the old style (according to the Gregorian calendar) or a new one.
          Let's remember. For the first time the Gregorian calendar was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in Catholic countries on October 4, 1582, in place of the former Julian: the next day after Thursday, October 4, was Friday October 15. And no questions on the continuity of summer combing.
     And in Russia, the Gregorian calendar was officially introduced on the territory of the RSFSR on 26.01.1918 by the decree of the Council of People's Commissars. In accordance with this document, immediately after January 31 of that year on the territory of the state came on February 14. There were no big problems.
    People, in their majority, are not conservative. New and unusual them are always interested.
      Great difficulties in international relations will not be. Not every member of society, a resident of the country, has daily relationships with representatives of other countries. And people who have such a relationship, they are highly educated and literate. And they are not the first to use different calendars. In Europe, use the ancient Chinese calendar, for example, to determine their fate, character.  To work with the new calendar programmers will quickly write the appropriate programs. For a simple calendar and program will be simple.  Yes, there will be a transitional process, short-lived. This is inevitable when implementing any new. Otherwise, humanity would sit in caves and eat raw food, or even each other. Correctly evaluate the benefits that can be obtained from using a new calendar, people can have experience in real management of real financial and production and other real processes and "state" thinking. Real, not academic.   Practice is the criterion of truth.
        To switch to a new calendar, the country's leadership needs to simply have the desire, courage and determination to bring real good to its country, and not wait for hints from others.
  2. The beginning of the year should be postponed the day after the winter solstice. It is "closer" to the "material world". The meaning is simple and logical. The new year began, the day began to increase.
  3. And now we will discuss the following. How will we refer to the new calendar? As the author of this calendar, I want to propose the following. When applying the calendar for society, it will be called so - "CALENDAR XXXX year". YES. "CALENDAR of XXXX year", where XXXX is the digital designation of the year. For example, for 2018. - "Calendar of 2018". And that's all. When we used the Gregorian calendar, it was called simply "The Calendar of the XXXX year". Do not break this tradition. For all the inhabitants of the planet Earth will be so convenient. And the experts will figure it out, whose editorial staff is using the calendar. This will be fair. In order to distinguish the new calendar from the previously used one, it will be temporarily called "New Calendar" or "Five Day Calendar" or "Simple Calendar" or "Russian Calendar" or "Universal Calendar". As people will be convenient. And in 5 to 10 years, the need to clarify that we are using the new calendar will disappear. You can also recall that the "Universal Calendar" is suitable for any year, only the number of the year change and take into account (leap year this?).
